Conflict Sensitivity and Do No Harm
Conflict analysis and do-no-harm practice applied to real programmes and locations.
Every programme in South Sudan touches local tensions — over land, resources, jobs, or who is chosen to benefit.
Participants carry out a conflict analysis for a real location, identify the connectors and dividers around their programme, and trace how decisions on staffing, targeting and procurement can ease or inflame tension.
The Do No Harm framework is applied to live cases, including land, natural resources and livelihoods, and the course closes with simple ways to monitor conflict sensitivity during implementation.
