Research Methods and Data Analysis

From the research question to the policy brief, with hands-on work on real data.

Participants design a study, choose a sample, build qualitative and quantitative tools, and plan fieldwork with enumerator training and ethical safeguards suited to South Sudanese settings.

Analysis sessions use Excel, SPSS and Stata on practice datasets, and the course ends with writing the findings up as a short, readable policy brief.

Group size is normally 15–25 participants for open sessions. In-house cohorts are sized to your team.

Dates and fees

This course runs on request. Open sessions are scheduled once a cohort is formed, and in-house delivery is scheduled around your team’s calendar.
