Research Methods and Data Analysis

Design, collect and analyse — with hands-on work in Excel, SPSS and Stata.

Delivery begins with a needs assessment: what the team can already do, what it is expected to do, and what is getting in the way. The content below is then adapted — examples, documents and exercises come from your sector and, where you are willing to share them, from your own files.

Sessions are facilitated by practitioners who do this work, with practice and structured feedback built in. Post-training follow-up reviews what was applied and what stalled.

The sequence and weighting are adjusted after the needs assessment. Where a group already has strong practice in one area, that time moves to where it is needed.

Group size is normally 15–25 participants for open sessions. In-house cohorts are sized to your team.

Dates and fees

This course runs on request. Open sessions are scheduled once a cohort is formed, and in-house delivery is scheduled around your team’s calendar.

Fees depend on duration, group size, location and whether materials are developed from scratch or adapted. Send us the scope and we will quote it.
